I lay in bed still at night
with the last words in a loop
We are over!
One beat?Two Beats,
my heart is shattered.
I lay in bed still at night
with water drenched eyes.
One piece?Two pieces,
slowly my heart is being sewn back.
Then I met him.
He took my heart & placed it
next to his, tied in a little box
with ribbon.
He is keeping it safe, he has finished sewing it.
I lay in bed still at night
dreaming of his soft lips
bright eyes
and warm hugs
I lay in bed still at night
dreaming.

the words reverberating in a loop along with the way the heart shatters in beats are great images
