Lost again

His betrayal
Like the death of a mother
There is no healing but time for
Life, love and pain.
Awakening to new emotions every day
The real and the unknown
Not knowing myself. Not knowing you.
Gone is what was
And what wasn't must be renewed.
Can I love again.
A choke of emotion wells in my throat.
I've been here before.
Momentary pulses that leave me breathless And wondering if it will ever be the same.
