We blazed here centuries ago
Splayed before your iron hearth
Trinkets and a graveyard stare
Lustre on your pebbled path
I recall us centuries ago
Come winter's chilling white lace hoodoo
Kisses that the night wind sent
Unnerving case of Deja Voodoo
Tottenham Court was cobblestone
Eternal skin translucent white
A stunner down in Leicester Square
With hair that fell like the world's final night
And in those ghastly gaslight alleys
Our visions mingled wild and deep
Flaying under ravaged stars
Then blissful in our endless sleep
The tempest howled and wrought it's carnage
Locked in tight we pledged forever
Storms would lash but still we'd die
A million little deaths together
Those fingertips and crimson lips
Wrought ecstasy, blood lust and valor
My dying gaze beheld your face
In all it's glorious deathly pallor
Yes, I recall us centuries ago
Come winter's chilling white lace hoodoo
Kisses that the night wind sent
Unnerving case of Deja Voodoo
