My mind is fighting with my heart
over you
and an idea that wants to start.
A dream
and a chance
are caught up in a tide of plans
that fall apart.
You I cannot touch
And you I cannot hold
Always in my head
and torturing my soul
There is nothing inside me
that I can define.
Because here you don't exist
And you are not mine.
And the taste of you has lingered
like a harsh drought
but I keep trying to let it go
and wash you out
Across the world
I cut the line
That keeps me tied.
With no end
and no beginning
Because you are not mine.
