Car Crash

I bit your neck
but no scar
I clawed at your hair
but it's grown
I took off your t-shirt
so has she
I see

the small curly black hairs
on top of your skin
over your heart
I kissed you there once

the back of your head
where it meets your neck
weakens me
I nibbled at it once

green, liquid spreads
up to my eyes
and out as salty tears
drop

your Greek arm outstretched
in a moment
her context
I am Miss Voyeur

search reflections on the window
nothing
just framing a scene
that I played in once

worse if I could see her
I want to
hello Sado

show yourself woman
I scream
let this jealousy turn sour and boil over then I might breathe again

try to embrace myself
Brace myself
for the pink tornado
a future photo
arm in arm
or worse
lips touching
skin to skin
my skin

not fair
says the child
my neck, my chest, my hairs,
not hers, not hers
don't want to share

I stamp my foot

Tear your eyes away then
I can't
the fly on their wall
fingers trapped
a sticky web of honey and salt
that corner there
below your ear
I lean in to look closer
is that mine?
something of you
that is mine

Sophie
