Love Letter

My nest is lined with angel feathers
My altar holds your pearls
My heart is filled with diamonds,
My cloak of waves unfurls.

And still you will deny me
Though my world is filled with jewels
What will would have me do for you,
Sail a ship of a thousand fools?
So here I wait for you
And there you wait for him
Yet we are both alone tonight
Is that not a sin?

Leontine
