Sweet Chastity

You came to me with the cries of the stars, ringing in your ears..
And the burden of a thousand galaxies
burning heavy on your heart.
I first saw you, an exposed dryad,
looking for innocence, long lost,
in the waterfall beside my hide.
You scratched and tore
the acid of experience from your naked flesh, and hid your body behind a fern, for protection from Heaven's all-seeing skies.
And yet, despite the salt water that blurred your sight, You articulated to me the secret of our lonely utopia until I saw it too.
And now, all I can offer in return is the Truth:
You hold the World's raw beauty in your eyes, and it's here your precious chastity lies.
