Love/The Artist:
You draw me
Into the moment.
The memory of a thousand strokes
captured in one exuberant scrawl.
A line is traced
From the curve of your body
To my gestural eye.
Seeing by feeling
Mind's vision
Believed in charcoal certainty.
Intimacy/The Subject:
You draw me
Into the moment.
I lay before you
A collection of imaginings.
Physicality unfoldng
Into an energy of lines.
To draw as to touch
Eyes undulate over a page
As hands over skin
Both come together
In equal measure
Of intimacy.
Of loss.
Loss/The Viewer:
You draw me
Into the moment.
A white wall
Cannot subdue
The betrayal of colour
An iridescent violence
of reminiscence.
The frame converts
from your eye to my eye
Fading memory to line.
An image is brought to life from life
Passion diluted by every subjectivity
Endlessly repeating intimacies for others.
A lover's baited breath;
drawn once
never repeated.

Love this one. The first part reminds me of the process / experience of drawing --- the moment in which your eye is in sync with your hand translating what you seefeel into imageform.
