The pain of birth is but a moment; extended- Nature's way of demanding her dues:
Intellect forced into abeyance
Knowledge but a peripheral shadow of the mind
Age a mental irrelevance
All are subjugated to the primeval physical urge
Yet -
All cower in the face of this boundless
LOVE:
Overpowering
Overwhelming
Insurmountable;
Captured in the anxious thudding of the heart, That sudden intake of breath, Of the ever vigilant sentinel -
MOTHER.
