Hearts rise
Souls sink
Tempers flare
Love deepens.
Compassion for the one we love.
How things would be much simpler,
If it were not for Cupid's interference.
A fleeting smile
A wayward glance.
Staring deep within the other
Seeing her
Feeling her
Wanting her
Missing her.
I wish things could be different.
Words to be unspoken
Unspoken words to be spoken.
The hurt to be whisked away.
It hurts.
She will be missed.
Out of Sync
